Lara is a MENA startup expert and a global Insurtech/Healthtech specialist. She founded Kojo to enable the Insurtech ecosystem. Over time, she has become industry agnostic supporting startups across industries with consultancy, advisory and finding investors (e.g. Healthtech, Edtech, Sportstech). She co-founded Thought On Paper to help people that have an idea, make it a reality and support early-stage founders. Because we keep wanting to pick her brain, she then extended that business with Pick My Brain to have a platform where people can easily approach experts and ask for their advice.
Lara is ex-Prenetics – a Healthtech startup in genomics and digital health solutions that became the first Hong-Kong unicorn to IPO on Nasdaq – introducing genomics to the Insurance Industry, Governments, Corporates and healthcare Partners.
She has 13 years of experience in Insurance at international level and across line of risks.
